Ok so after posting the cover of Lykke Li's "I'm Good I'm Gone" I figured I should check these guys out. I was not disappointed. Friendly Fires, who are from St. Albans in the U.K., are what it would sound like if James Russel Mercer, lead singer of The Shins, fronted MGMT after listening to plus minus for a month (just long enough to get a smidget of influence). And this remix I found of their song "Paris", ft Au Revoir Simone and remixed by Aeroplane, is quite simply the shit.
