Remember when Ricky Martin performed at "President" Bush's inauguration? HA!
It was recently revealed that Jay-Z will be performing at PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA'S inauguration. Aside from Obama's actual election, this has gotta come a close 2nd to the most relevant indication that 'the times they are a changing.' This is a new day for media. It is the marriage of youth culture and politics. Think about it...we have a president that enjoys listening to Jay-Z! I swear, if I ever get the chance to meet Barack Obama, I'm going to ask him his feelings on Kingdom Come...and if he says "meh, not his best work but 30's the new 20 and I'm still hot!" I'm going to cry tears of joy.
Matter of fact, what if Obama came on stage and dropped Biggie's verse from Brooklyn's Finest? Pardon my daydreaming, but can you even imagine? If he could spit a 16 and fix the economy...?!
